Poolman House
The plan is for a venue to accomodate up to 480 patrons at a time, seven days a week and with hours that start at 7 am and go to 3 am the following morning on several days of the week. The expectation is that up to 1000 people will go through there every day.
The video below shows the scene outside a Soho House in Miami, Florida, a city comparable in size to Melbourne. It shows traffic congestion for 50 to 100 metres leading up to the club at the end of the video. Imagine if this was the nightly scene in Domain Road if the project goes ahead.
